23 June, 2016 - on Love and Starting Over

Last week my friend Refiloe just remembered that another friend of hers has just became single. So from her good heart she thought she'd hook us up. This guy is a charming Doctor, good looking , body form = MY type :) , someone that I could actually hang out with. But then I thought to myself, I'm an indoor person, I've learnt to enjoy JUST being home and he seemed like an outgoing guy... But I was actually ready to give it a try ....

She comes back with bad & GOOD news...

He's breakup is recent unlike mine which is about a Year and 3 days old today ...

his text: " I'm sorry my friend, I do not think I can be in a new relationship right now... I'm still volatile and afraid I might end up using her"

I HAD no idea there were such guys out there.. SO HONEST in a good way not honest when he breaks up with you and tell you but I'm being honest when he has never been honest through out  the relationship.. but only honest when he tells you how he doesn't love you anymore. GEEZ!

I was quite moved by that actually and I 'thiiiink' that make me curious and want to know him now...

the part I that made me realise that THIS right here is a great guy is when he typed:

But anyway - it's ok... I'm looking and now that I am ready to start anew , I am positive that a good man is coming my way.

I wake up everyday, I look around and I appreciate everything that I see around me, the people that I have in my life who support me.

I've been through a rough patch the past year - many know. But if I were not a believer I'd probably be dead today. I got to a point where I lost myself chasing love forgetting the very place to find it which is; WITHIN. I've started paying more attention to my life and all that's around me, my daughter's giggles gave me and still gives me strength. I started realising that - I AM important, I AM special , I AM whom God wants me to be... I cannot be anybody else BUT myself ...

Remember: ALWAYS be PRESENT in your life ...  

SHOW UP FOR YOURSELF
